Saturday mornings have become somewhat routine for me.

Wake up by 7, run 4 miles to the farmer’s market, meet Tim there, and buy some wonderful produce.

This routine is far from boring, and I feel like it really sets a positive tone for me. I get a workout and buy healthy whole foods straight from the hands of the farmer, all before 9:00 a.m.

The goods of the day were kale, cilantro, golden beets, papayas, avocado, two varieties of banana. Other buys not pictured were sweet potatoes, zucchini, and tomatoes. My lettuce man hasn’t been there for weeks, I am worried because something terrible must have happened to his crops, and selfishly, I don’t have my beautiful lettuce. Lettuce man, if you’re out there, I hope your farm is o.k. and I hope you come back to the farmer’s market soon!

What routines do you have that have a positive impact on your life?
