Banana Bread

Continuing with the surplus banana situation, another remedy to my predicament is banana bread.

What you need:

– 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

– 1/4 cup flax seeds (or other nut)

– 1/3 cup coconut oil (or vegetable oil)

– 1/4 cup hot water

– 1/2 cup honey

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 eggs

– 1 1/2 cup bananas

What you do:

1) Mix all of the dry ingredients together thoroughly (baking soda, flour, nuts, salt, and cinnamon).

2) In a separate bowl mix together all of the wet ingredients (oil, honey, water, vanilla, eggs, and bananas).

3) Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.

4) Pour into a baking dish.

5) Bake in an oven preheated to 325 degrees for 60 minutes.

6) Take the bread out of the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes, or as long as you can wait, cut and enjoy!
